Nationwide Implementation of Rapid Molecular Diagnostics in Egypt (2014 – 2022)
Beginning in 2014, GreenLine dedicated its efforts towards the introduction and expansion of cartridge-based molecular diagnostic technologies across Egypt (GeneXpert). At that time, rapid PCR platforms were still emerging in routine clinical practice, and adoption faced barriers related to perceived complexity and cost.
Through sustained technical engagement, laboratory training, and collaboration with healthcare stakeholders, GreenLine contributed to the growth of one of the most widely implemented rapid molecular diagnostic platforms in the country, expanding the installed base from zero to more than 110 systems nationwide

The platform was progressively implemented across Egypt, covering institutions from Alexandria to Aswan and extending to remote and underserved regions. Deployment spanned multiple segments of the healthcare system, including governmental institutions, academic hospitals, specialized care centers, and private laboratories
